Volunteer at a local food pantry near you to help make an impact! Emergency crews rushed Friday to rescue people trapped in flooded homes after Helene roared ashore as a powerful Category 4 hurricane in Florida, generating a massive storm surge and knocking out power to 4 million customers in several states. At least six people were reported dead.

Donating Today

Despite being one of the wealthiest nations in the world, millions of people in the United States struggle with food insecurity, meaning they lack consistent access to enough food for an active and healthy life. According to Feeding America, the largest hunger relief organization in the USA, an estimated 42 million Americans, including 13 million children, are facing hunger.

Food pantries play a critical role in addressing food insecurity by providing free or low-cost food to individuals and families in need. Many people rely on food pantries to help supplement their monthly grocery budget, particularly during times of financial hardship or crisis. Food pantries are often run by non-profit organizations, churches, or community groups, and they rely on donations of food and funds from the public to operate.

Overall, while efforts are being made to address food insecurity in the United States, food pantries remain an important resource for those in need.

Our Mission

ICNA Relief has been pioneering the Hunger Prevention Program since 2005 across the nation. Following Allah swt’s ordinance to feed those in need, ICNA Relief has developed key public food-assistance services to raise awareness of the national hunger epidemic

About Hunger Prevention

The program deploys programs like the Ramadan Food Boxes, Iftar Distribution Program, Udhiya / Qurbani meat distribution, and Mercy On Wheels.

Our Hunger Prevention programs have been
instrumental in providing support to hundreds of single mothers, senior citizens, refugee families, homeless, and other local community members.

Our Growth

In the last two years, ICNA Relief has worked relentlessly with the USDA, Congress, and networks of leading food banks across the nation to provide guidance and expertise on expanding halal food options through the emergency food assistance program (TEFAP).

Our ultimate goal is to expand the number of halal protein options in the program.

Make A Real Change In Someone’s Life

ICNA Relief operates several food pantries and distribution centers that offer free, nutritious meals to people in need. They also organize various feeding programs, including soup kitchens, and mobile food trucks Additionally, ICNA Relief collaborates with local businesses, farms, and grocery stores to rescue surplus food and distribute it to those who need it most. Through their efforts, ICNA Relief helps ensure that everyone has access to sufficient and healthy food, regardless of their financial situation.
