Welcome from the Area Manager: Icna Relief Maryland Program covers all the 24 Counties
including Baltimore City in Maryland. We are here to help you meet all your needs. If for some
reason, you can’t get what you need from our office, we will try to refer you to the place where
you can get the service. All our services are offered to the people for free in our state.

Refugee Services
ICNA Relief’s Refugee Program provides caring and compassionate service to victims of adversities and survivors of disasters. Our mission is to empower and transition refugees, helping them build a comfortable lifestyle in American society.

Hunger Prevention
Hunger prevention deploys programs like the Food Pantry, Ramadan Food Boxes, Iftar
Distribution Program, Udhiya/Qurbani meat distribution, and Mercy on Wheels. Our Hunger
Prevention programs have been instrumental in providing support to hundreds of single mothers,
senior citizens, refugee families, homeless, and other local community members.
Locations and Schedules: We are open 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday at 10am to 6pm.
We may open any other day when there is an urgent need for it. We close during Federal
holidays

BACK2SCHOOL
Back2School continues to provide backpacks and school supplies to the underserved through the
generous support of people like you who can donate their time and energy to our cause as well as

● Help families learn and cope with life’s challenging issues
● Individual, family, and group counseling for depression, anxiety, trauma, and related
issues
● Assist refugees in adapting to their new living environment through psychoeducational
training
● Coach youth with adjustment issues

Transitional House
ICNA Relief operates one of the largest networks of Transitional Homes in the country. Our
facilities were born out of necessity, providing temporary living accommodations for homeless
women and their children since 2008. ICNA Relief provides culturally sensitive case
management in a halal environment which fosters healing and growth while our clients work
towards self-sufficiency.
Ineligible:
– Individuals with severe mental health concerns
– Individuals requiring convalescent / nursing care
– Actively abusing drugs or alcohol
– Victims fleeing violent relationships with the exception of our DV Shelters (locations are
private for security purposes).
NOTE:
– A psychological evaluation may be required to determine eligibility and rule out
behavioral and/or emotional concerns.

Around 28 million Americans do not have health insurance. ICNA Relief is doing its part to
combat this problem by offering free basic medical services. Our mobile Health clinic provides
medical aid to the uninsured and in the future ICNA Relief envisions opening a Clinic as part of

Disaster Relief
ICNA Relief USA represents Our Nation’s Muslim Response to disasters. ICNA Relief USA supports all phases of disaster: Preparedness, Response, and Recovery. Including mitigation, advocacy, and community resiliency for the whole-community. We assist in training and networking, planning and deployment, long term case management, and rebuilding better and resilient communities while also advocating for the benefit of those impacted by disaster.

FATE Program
FATE empowers Muslim communities to engage in foster care by providing
guidance, training, and support to licensed families, helping them navigate the U.S.
foster care system with confidence. Our Maryland FATE program is underway, if you need
