How many women stay in one?
This varies across our homes as some of them fit a handful, and others offer multiple floors. On average, we have about 6 women per home at any given time.
What is a transitional home?
A safe place for women and children.
How long does one stay?
We strive for the self-sufficiency of our clients and hope for a quick transition. This length of stay varies depending on the client’s situation and how quickly they gain financial independence.

Our Women's Wishlist
(1) Bus Passes: As many of the women are seeking financial freedom and going for multiple interviews, transportation costs can often feel burdensome
(2) Legal Fees: Sometimes the women are in custody battles or divorce cases, and want their fair share of inheritance. Attorneys can be costly, along with the fees associated with such proceedings.
(3) Professional Attire: Some of our homes provide suits and blazers to help the women dress to impress during interviews.
(4) Tuition: Some employment opportunities require these women to get some online education, certifications, or general coursework before they can be self-sufficient.
(5) Feminine Products: Sanitary napkins, tampons, deodorant and many of the essential items we take for granted are not readily available for these women.
