Refugee Services
Helping Families Settle and Thrive
For many refugees arriving in the United States, the first months are the hardest. Families face barriers to housing, work, education, and health care.
ICNA Relief walks with them through every step of resettlement – from immediate essentials to long-term support that helps them rebuild lives with dignity. In 2024, our Refugee Services program reached more than 59,800 people nationwide.
From Arrival to Stability
ICNA Relief caseworkers assist families as they take their first steps in a new country. This includes applying for identification, enrolling children in school, accessing healthcare, and connecting with community resources. Families receive food, hygiene kits, and household supplies to ease the transition.
Beyond immediate needs, ICNA Relief helps refugees integrate into society with English-language classes, counseling, job readiness support, and referrals to legal and employment services.
Every service is designed to empower families toward independence and resilience.
