The Multiplied Reward of
Giving Sadaqah During Dhul Hijjah

“There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” – Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Bukhari)
The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah carry a unique weight. These are days chosen by Allah, marked by the Prophet ﷺ as the best of the year. This is our chance to grow closer to Allah. A chance to give, to seek forgiveness, and to be part of something greater than ourselves.
One of the most powerful ways to respond in these sacred days is through Sadaqah
Giving with Intention, Giving with Hope
Sadaqah isn’t only about addressing a need. It’s about meeting Allah’s invitation to do good. When we give during Dhul Hijjah, especially on the Day of Arafah, we aren’t just offering help to others. We’re also opening the door to Allah’s mercy for ourselves.
The Prophet ﷺ taught that fasting on the Day of Arafah wipes away the sins of the previous and coming year. It is a day of forgiveness, of answered du’a, and of divine closeness. Giving Sadaqah on this day, and throughout these ten, is a way to be present in that mercy. Even a small amount, given with sincerity, holds immeasurable value.
How ICNA Relief Makes Your Giving Matter
At ICNA Relief, your Sadaqah supports programs that directly serve families in crisis, right here at home.
- Survivors of domestic abuse and homelessness find safe, transitional housing
- Refugees fleeing conflict are welcomed with case management, food, and essentials
- Food pantry shelves stay stocked for parents struggling to feed their children
- Free mental health counseling is made available for individuals who feel alone in their pain
These are not abstract causes. They are real people, in our neighborhoods, being cared for through your giving.
And in these sacred days, when every good deed is multiplied, your support reaches further than usual, both in its impact and in its reward.
You don’t need to give everything. But don’t miss the chance to give something.

These Days Won’t Come Again
Dhul Hijjah reminds us that time is sacred. That Allah, in His mercy, gives us windows in which the smallest actions carry the greatest weight. Sadaqah is one of those actions. And ICNA Relief is here to carry your giving to where it’s needed most.
Whether you’re helping a child start school with new clothes, a mother rebuilding her life after abuse, or a family putting food on the table, your giving matters. And these are the best days to give.
May your Sadaqah be accepted. May your du’as be answered. And may you find nearness to Allah in these ten days.
