The Arabic term Waqf refers to an inalienable endowment used solely for charitable efforts, a practice highly esteemed in Islam.

The ICNA Relief Waqf is an endowment commited to building and investing capital that promotes the innovation, growth, and sustainability of ICNA Relief’s important charitable operations.

How Does it Work?

The  Donor makes contribution to Waqf (endowment)

Waqf grows through long-term, shariah compliant investing.

Over time, Waqf uses investment returns plus new contributions to grow.

Once the Waqf is large enough, a percentage of the annual returns can fund ICNA Relief initiatives.
