“To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Ustadha Marvet Musleh, who has returned to her Lord. Sister Marvet leaves behind her devoted husband, Muhammad Musleh, her children Salah, Dua, Tariq, Amer, and Malik Musleh, as well as many cherished grandchildren.
Ustadha Marvet spent her life in the worship of Allah and in dedicated service to His servants and communities. She was a beacon of knowledge and guidance, personally teaching many in our community the Quran and the principles of Islam. Her children, each in their unique way, have followed in her footsteps, committing themselves to the service of Allah’s creation and engaging in community work. We are all witnesses to, and beneficiaries of, her tireless efforts—whether directly through her teachings or through the noble actions of her children.
We beseech Allah to accept us all as part of her ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah) and legacy, and to bear witness to her righteousness and sincerity before the Almighty.
Ustadha Marvet was a pillar of the ICNA Relief Chicago family, always ready to extend her hand in service. She tirelessly volunteered at food pantries, assisted refugees, and supported various local community efforts. In recognition of her tremendous contributions and as a core volunteer of ICNA Relief, We are honored to continue her legacy through a Fund for Student Financial Assistance for the Back2School Program established in her name. We invite you to support this sadaqah jariyah opportunity, helping us to raise funds for ICNA Relief in her honor.
May Allah (SWT) elevate her ranks, shower her with mercy, and grant ease and patience to her family, friends, and loved one.”
