Women's Transitional House

In 2019, ICNA Relief Sacramento, in partnership with the Muslim Community of Folsom, established the Sakina Transitional Home—the first Muslim women’s transitional housing facility in Sacramento. This three-bedroom residence provides shelter and support for up to six women at a time, offering a safe and nurturing environment for those in need.
Due to ongoing and growing demand from the community, there is an urgent need to expand this vital resource to accommodate more clients and continue empowering women on their journey toward stability and independence.
📞 For more information or to get involved, please contact Sister Sara Qureshi, Case Manager for the Sakina Transitional Home.
