Community Voices Create Change

Be a Voice for Children in Foster Care

The shortage of Muslim foster families is not an individual challenge; it is a shared responsibility. Community Changemakers help bridge the gap by bringing meaningful conversations into masjids, schools, and community spaces.

Through awareness and dialogue, Changemakers help replace uncertainty with understanding and compassion with action.

Become a CASA Volunteer

As a Changemaker, you serve as a connector: linking families, leaders, and institutions to the urgent needs of children in foster care. We provide you with guidance, messaging, and materials to help you speak with confidence and clarity about Kafalah and foster care within the Muslim community.

Ways you may serve include:

  • Lead an Awareness Session

Coordinate an educational talk or presentation at a masjid, school, or community gathering using FATE resources.

  • Spread the Message

Share stories, updates, and impact through social platforms,
email lists, and community bulletins.

  • Circulate Educational Materials

Place flyers and brochures in visible, high-traffic spaces where
conversations can begin.

  • Build Strategic Connections

Introduce FATE to local organizations, community leaders, or agencies to expand collaboration.

Your voice and presence help normalize foster care conversations and open doors for children waiting for safe, loving homes.
