When children enter foster care, many arrive with nothing but the clothes on their backs — their lives packed into a garbage bag. Barakah Bags replace that moment of loss with one of compassion.
Each care package is filled with essentials and comfort items to help children settle into their new homes with dignity and warmth.

Each bag is customized to be age appropriate and based on the child’s need.
Essentials Bag
Provides hygiene supplies, clothing basics, stationery, blankets, and comfort items to support a child during their first few days.
Comfort & Care Bag
Builds on the Essentials Bag by adding items such as seasonal clothing, snacks, shoes, and age-appropriate personal items to help children feel cared for and secure
Empowerment Bag
Includes a tablet, headphones, school supplies, and clothing helping children stay connected and confident in school
