The Patient Education Resource Center (PERC) aims to improve health and scientific literacy among our underserved patients and the general public by providing a center of health information in the format of infographics, educational videos, and articles. The goal of creating content in different forms is to provide various forms of engaging and shareable content to cater to the preferences of our readers. A team of undergraduate members from Student Healthcare in Practice (SHIP) at the University of California, Irvine serve as writers, editors, article cycle leaders, video editors, designers, and media leaders to create articles, infographics, and videos about various health topics on issues prevalent among the patients we serve and the general public. The content that is produced undergoes professional review by ICNA Relief medical and dental professionals.
