ICNA Relief MFS Program continues to serve refugees from various countries. In the last quarter, we focused on the following items:
Winter gears distribution: Hundreds of free winter jackets, blankets, shoes, pajamas, hats, gloves, socks, and other winter apparel distributed free of cost to refugees from multiple countries.
MFS is serving U4U Ukrainian clients through our resettlement program UHP as a partner with LIRS. Service provided were in following areas:
• Work authorization application
• Public benefits application and SS
• Medical screening and school enrollment
• Referrals to employment program
• Cultural orientation, mental health and legal as-sistance referrals
• Emergency housing support (if necessary)
• Daily new household supplies, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, furniture distribution for new refugee families.
After serving hundreds of students with ESL, citi-zenship, tutoring classes. ICNA relief is starting 2023 new registration.
