DANA WESLEY WHEELER, OD
VISION
Born and raised in Kentucky, Dr. Wheeler received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky in 1983 and then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and received his doctorate in Optometry in 1988. He has been a low country native since 1989 in private practice until his semi-retirement in 2020. As a new member of the Shifa Free Clinic Staff, Dr. Wheeler is eager to help with eye care needs of the clinic’s clients.
