Job Summary: The Outreach Coordinator establishes strong connections with community members and organizations.
Essential Responsibilities but not limited to: Connect with masjid organization leaders, youth groups, student associations; speak in front of large crowds, fundraise for different programs and services, meet with media and TV stations. Travel may be required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Part-time, 9 AM – 4 PM, Monday – Thursday and work on weekends
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s preferred (Communications major preferred) or 2 years related experience
Required Skills/Competencies: Public speaking, Office 365, English language, verbal and written communication proficient.
Work Authorization: Citizenship or work visa
Other Duties: Must be willing to meet with the national team and attend revenue/media meetings, plan events, work with existing teams, and report on activities in a timely manner. Perform all other duties and responsibilities assigned by manager and directors.
