Job Summary

The Marketing Manager leads the National Marketing strategy, and monitors digital presence based on various technical platforms; implements key branding initiatives across all digital platforms; and offers guidance and mentorship to the various team members in the department while encouraging them to work in accordance with the organization’s vision.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing marketing department.

  • Developing marketing strategy and evaluating it

  • Planning, directing, implementing, and coordinating marketing plans/campaigns

  • Communicating marketing plan and ensuring its implementation across ICNA Relief

  • Researching demand of our services and integrating them with resource generation efforts.

  • Researching competitors for learning best practices and strategies in marketing

  • Closely observing our ongoing services, such as food pantries and women’s transitional housing for helping align marketing with services and services with marketing strategy

  • Envisaging ways to maximize resource generation while helping in balancing customer satisfaction.

  • Identifying marketing opportunities, expansion of service, and increasing organizational reach to people in need.

  • Developing promotional campaigns and scaling them for cost-effectiveness and desired outcomes

  • Preparing marketing budgets, projections, research, and survey methodology and return-on-investment.

  • Projecting ICNA Relief’s services effectively for marketing purposes.

  • Developing, implementing, and managing advertising campaigns.

  • Building and promoting brand awareness across the country.

  • Attracting volunteers through effective marketing.

  • Coordinating marketing projects from start to finish.

  • Participating in company conferences for ensuring alignment with the marketing approach.

  • Collaborating in social media marketing strategy and campaigns.

  • Creates and manages all marketing activities, including promotional strategies and plans.

  • Monitors email marketing campaigns and content creation

  • Reviews and plans all social media strategy and content creation

  • Develops a comprehensive marketing and advertising strategy

  • Provides guidelines for branding ICNA Relief logo and image

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, (a concentration in Marketing is preferred but not required).

  • Able to communicate with executives

  • 2-3 years of marketing experience.

  • Experience managing staff or being a supervisor.

  • Strong organizational, project management skills and detailed oriented

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related fields required

  2. At least 3 years of experience in Marketing

  3. Some management and supervisory experience is preferred

  4. Experience with Pardot is preferred
